Another attempt at cooking. This time I went for Twice Baked Potatoes. The recipe calls for using large potatoes, but I only had small russets left over from Thanksgiving’s mashed potatoes. So instead of the large handsome meal I had planned, I ended up with appetizer-like things. Definitely have to use giant-size potatoes next time. Also, it was my first time ever making bacon. It had to be crispy in order to crumble into bits. But Travis came home and distracted me with something or other, probably swatches of bright colors or flashing lights, and I let the bacon burn. Well, I guess with each recipe, more cooking lessons learned.
